The Youth Enquiry Service is a project that grew out of the Steering Group (a group of enthusiastic and skilled young participants and volunteers who wished to put their confidence and skills to creative use). A vacant shop front unit in Lourene House was taken on as young people came up with the idea for a youth-led enquiry service, a place where young people could drop-in for free and hang out, ask confidential advice, use the computers and internet, chat with trained volunteers. The project is fully-funded and there is no admission fee.
